Robert Davidson

Robert’s experience includes comprehensive counseling on a variety of debt financing matters and related corporate law matters across a broad spectrum of industries. Robert strives to gain a deep understanding of his clients’ businesses in order to implement practical, business-appropriate solutions to achieve his clients’ goals. Robert has guided companies through all stages of debt financing for the corporate life cycle, from formation to sale. His extensive debt financing and related corporate experience includes drafting, negotiating, and advising on a wide variety of revolving and term loan agreements, complex cross-border transactions, sophisticated for-profit/non-profit joint venture arrangements, dividend recapitalization, leveraged buyouts, minority investments and sales to both strategic and financial acquirers. He has counseled numerous companies on day-to-day corporate matters, including SEC compliance and interpretation of the debt financing and other commercial contracts.

A 2018 graduate with distinction of the University of Iowa College of Law, Robert joined Block & McNeill in 2022 after working for 4 years in the Dallas office of a large international law firm. Prior to law school, Robert attended Texas Christian University for his undergraduate degree in Accounting and Financing and to pursue his interests in exercise sciences and investing.
